It's Thursday again so today we are taking you back to when Omotola Jalade Ekeinde got married to her pilot husband on board an aeroplane.
Yes, we've had romantic moments in the entertainment industry and one of them happened in 2001 when the beautiful Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde tied the knot with her husband Captain Mathew Ekeinde.

Omotola and Mattew Ekeinde got married in 1996 but decided to have their dream wedding in 2001 with a number of friends and family on board a Dash 7 aircraft while flying from Lagos  to Benin.

The wedding was seen as one of the biggest and most talked about at that time. It even got more buzz because they got married on board a flight. It would interest you to know that during the flight, Omotola's husband, Mathew was actually the one in the cockpit flying the plane for about 10 minutes before he handed over to his co-pilot to say his wedding vows.

According to Omotola, everyone who got on board the flight for that wedding had an insurance cover and in case you didn't know, they had a priest on board the flight who presided over the wedding.

It would be recalled that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Mathew Ekeinde met when she was 16 and he was 26. He proposed to her two years after they met. They have since gone to become one of the most influential celebrity couples in the entertainment world.

The Head of Information, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has opened up on why no other results had been released after the first batch of over 300,000 results.
